Patmos is the northern island of the province of Dodecanese (The Twelve Islands). Meadows and hills succeed each other and end to very beautiful fiordish beaches with amazingly blue water and lots of small islands around. Patmos is 158 nautical miles from Piraeus. It is only 34 square meters and its greatest length is of 25 km. The permanent residents of the island are 2973 according to the last record of 2001.

The nature is a mixture of wild and peaceful elements which make it both pleasant and magical.

The inhabitants stay in Chora, in the harbour of Scala, and in Kambos.
